Märklin 037066 - Steam locomotive class 80Model DetailsOur "Eighties"There are Märklin locomotives that evoke strong emotions in many model railroaders. The powerful tender steam locomotive of the Class 80 is one of these small but exquisite Märklin icons. As early as the beginning of the 1950s, a replica of this powerful shunting locomotive, the legendary TM 800, entered the Märklin product range and thrilled model railroaders of all ages, especially due to its affordable price. Countless improved versions of the "Eighties" followed, eventually making it one of the most popular Märklin steam locomotives. This was certainly also due to the interesting prototype. When the Class 80 was delivered to the pre-war German State Railway (Reichsbahn) between 1927 and 1929 in 39 units as a standard shunting locomotive, it was a state-of-the-art and very powerful type of locomotive. Although the German Federal Railway (Deutsche Bundesbahn) retired the last examples of this over 500 hp three-coupled locomotive as early as 1964, numerous locomotives found grateful buyers at industrial railways in North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony. There, the last examples could be admired until the end of the steam locomotive era in the 1970s. Thus, many railway and model railway enthusiasts experienced the "eighties" live under steam. Seven locomotives still exist today, with 80 036 of the Dutch Veluwsche Stoomtrein currently undergoing restoration. It is scheduled to be back under steam in 2026. To coincide with this, Märklin presents this classic in a completely redesigned version. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology and an unobstructed view through the cab, the new Class 80 will captivate many generations of young and old Märklin enthusiasts. Märklin 039105 - Steam locomotive class 01.10 new build

Märklin 039105 - Steam locomotive class 01.10 new buildModel DetailsThey were intended to be the "ICE" of the 1940s: We're talking about the 55 elegant, super-fast, and powerful streamlined express steam locomotives of the 01.10 series. After the war, however, little remained of their former glory. Nevertheless, the potential of this locomotive type, plagued by various teething problems, was recognized. Between 1953 and 1956, the three-cylinder engines received a new high-performance boiler and a modern feedwater heater system. The result was super-powerful steam locomotives that became a mainstay of high-quality express rail service. Mileages of 25,000 km per month were not uncommon until the end of their service in 1975. This legendary locomotive is therefore an absolute must-have for any model railway collection.Prototype: Class 01.10 express steam locomotive with a newly built high-performance boiler and 2´3 T38 coal tender of the German Federal Railroad (DB). Black livery with red chassis. Version without streamlining. With silver boiler bands. Two-light headlights. Witte smoke deflectors and single-sided inductive train protection (Indusi). Locomotive road number 01 1059. Operating condition after boiler conversion around 1955/56.Model: With mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion with flywheel in the boiler. 3 axles driven. Traction tires. Locomotive and tender largely made of metal. Standard built-in smoke generator with speed-dependent, dynamic smoke emission. Directional two-light headlights, conventionally operational, digitally switchable. Cab lighting, firebox flicker, and chassis lighting are separately digitally switchable. Lighting with maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs. With energy storage. Märklin 039400 - Steam locomotive class 4000Model DetailsBig Boy – The Golden Age of Railroading To say much about the legendary Big Boy of the Union Pacific Railroad (UP) would be like carrying coals to Newcastle. This gigantic and world-famous machine is more than just a locomotive. It represents the golden age of railroading and is a symbol of the inventive and pioneering spirit of the United States of America, which celebrated its independence 250 years ago. Nothing is impossible in the land of unlimited opportunities, and the Big Boy is truly an example of the unwavering self-confidence of Americans. However, the UP will not be presenting a golden Big Boy for the grand Independence Day celebrations. That honor belongs to Märklin – with an exceptionally elegant Big Boy 4000 in H0 scale, coated with 24-karat fine gold. Strictly limited, this impressive model is a visual and extremely valuable gem.Prototype: Union Pacific Railroad (UP) Class 4000 Big Boy.Model: Smokebox door, boiler top, tender body, driving wheelsets, running wheelsets, connecting rods, and various detail parts made of metal and coated with 24-karat fine gold. Equipped with an mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion. 2 axles driven, 6 axles driven via coupling rods. Traction tires. Articulated chassis for smooth curve negotiation. Boxpok wheels. Center coupled axles are sprung. Headlights, tender, and number plates illuminated with maintenance-free warm white LEDs. Two smoke generators (7226) can be retrofitted; contacts are always ready for operation. Headlights and number plate lighting operate conventionally and can be switched digitally. Cab lighting can be switched digitally. Coupler hooks can be inserted into the cowcatcher at the front. Close coupling between locomotive and tender. Steam pipes swivel with the cylinders. Metal grab irons. Many separately applied details. Driver and fireman figures for the cab are included. The Big Boy comes in exclusive packaging with a certificate of authenticity. Both the locomotive and the certificate are numbered. A pair of white cotton gloves and a booklet about the model's development are included. A 24-karat gold-plated pickup shoe is also included to replace the standard-fitted pickup shoe. Length over couplings approx. 46.5 cm. Operating Instructions: The locomotive can be used on curved track with a radius of 360 mm or greater; however, we recommend larger radii. Due to the overhang of the long boiler, signals, overhead line masts, bridge railings, tunnel portals, etc., must maintain sufficient clearance from the track curve. The track must be securely fastened to support the locomotive's weight. The turntable and transfer table can only be traversed in the through position. Märklin 039481 - Steam locomotive class 1
Märklin 039481 - Steam locomotive class 1

Märklin 039481 - Steam locomotive class 1Model DetailsThey were the bread-and-butter locomotives of high-quality express service, especially in Europe: powerful steam locomotives with a 2'C1' wheel arrangement, equipped with two leading axles, three (usually high) driving axles, and a trailing axle, representing a perfect design for high speeds with high tractive effort. The name "Pacific" originated in the USA, where this locomotive type was first introduced in 1901. On our continent, Belgium built not only one of the heaviest and most powerful Pacific locomotives, the Class 1, starting in 1935. Its imposing appearance also reflected the Belgians' pride in the achievements of their railway company. Locomotive 1.002 was preserved and restored to working order in 1985 for the grand 150th anniversary celebration. Today, the locomotive stands as a meticulously maintained, but unfortunately no longer operational, exhibit in the Museum of the Three Valleys Steam Railway in Treignes. Now, the fantastic new Märklin model of this legendary museum locomotive, with its elegant green, red, and black livery, perfectly authentic sound, and prototypical steam generator, can keep the vivid memory of this superb Pacific alive – in miniature, as a fascinating contrast to today's modern railway stars.Prototype: Class 1 express steam locomotive of the Belgian State Railways (SNCB/NMBS). Road number 1.002. Museum condition.Model: mfx+ digital decoder with light and sound functions. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion with flywheel in the boiler. One axle driven, two axles driven via coupling rod. Traction tires. Locomotive and tender largely made of metal. Standard built-in smoke generator with speed-dependent, dynamic smoke emission. The front-mounted two-light headlights are digitally switchable. Additionally, the cab lighting and the firebox flicker are separately digitally switchable. Lighting is provided by maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs. Features a power buffer. The locomotive and tender have an adjustable kinematic coupling. The tender has a kinematic close coupling with an NEM coupler pocket. The locomotive can negotiate curves with an unrestricted radius of 437.5 mm (radius 2). Brake hoses, screw coupling imitations, and signal holders are included. Length over buffers approx. 28.4 cmIn 1926, the Chemins de fer de l'État belge was renamed Société nationale des chemins de fer belges (SNCB), which was later translated in official Belgian German usage as 'Nationale Gesellschaft der Belgischen Eisenbahnen' (National Society of Belgian Railways). This model is available in a DC version in the Trix H0 range under item number 25481.Detailed scale model for adult collectors. Märklin 039535 - Steam locomotive class 52
Märklin 039535 - Steam locomotive class 52

Märklin 039535 - Steam locomotive class 52Model DetailsIt was the most widely produced European locomotive type and the product of a terrible conflict: the German Class 52 war locomotive. Over 7,000 of these locomotives left the workshops of many renowned locomotive factories starting in 1942. It was a simplified yet robust five-coupled tender locomotive, suitable for a wide range of applications. Typical of most series was the self-supporting tub tender, which was manufactured in large numbers to save material. Less well-known, but equally distinctive and widespread with over 1,000 examples, was the Vienna rigid-frame tender. In this design, the wheelsets were rigidly mounted in a frame, while the tub tender, like most other tender types, ran on bogies. Now, the Class 52 is practically a must-have for model railroaders to recreate this important chapter of German railway history on a small scale. The new Märklin model with its rigid-frame tender is a real eye-catcher thanks to its unusual appearance and technology, and an ideal addition to any Class 52 locomotive collection on your home model railway. Prototype: Class 52 heavy freight steam locomotive with K4 T30 rigid-frame tender of the German Federal Railroad (DB). Black/red livery. Witte smoke deflectors. Leading wheelset with solid wheels. Locomotive road number 52 6884. Operating condition circa 1951. Model: With mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion with flywheel in the boiler. 5 axles driven. Traction tires. Locomotive and rigid-frame tender largely made of metal. Equipped for smoke generator 7226.
