WIKING 009504 - Motorboat on trailer

WIKING 009504 - Motorboat on trailerPrototype InformationWIKING has transformed the legendary motorboat on its transport trailer into a real eye-catcher with its latest model update. The finely detailed hull and deck make it possible – all in classic Riva style. The motorboat with its powerful outboard motor features a white hull and an elegantly printed deck. Subtly accentuated silver details complete the look. This large motorboat on its trailer was once highly sought after by collectors because it added variety to WIKING's toy collections back in 1963 – and remained so until 1988. Moreover, this outboard-powered sports boat truly reflects the spirit of the then-emerging leisure society. Loaded onto its trailer, the motorboat served as a popular alternative to caravans and car trailers in WIKING's vast world of miniatures.Model Details Deck and hull white, baseboard brown. Steering wheel pearl white, outboard motor pale brown. Brown deck printing and matching side panel design. Black-gray boat trailer with silver bracket. Rims also silver. WIKING 015304 - MB 280 SE Cabrio - cremebeige

WIKING 015304 - MB 280 SE Cabrio - cremebeigePrototype InformationThe Mercedes-Benz 280 SE is a prime example of the keen eye for detail of WIKING's head, Fritz Peltzer. In the 1960s, he not only selected everyday vehicles for his model range but also opted for dream cars in his mold design. The Mercedes-Benz 280 SE in its convertible version undoubtedly belonged to this category. The elegant body lines, combined with the open and seemingly spacious interior, speak volumes about what German and international car enthusiasts considered comfort six decades ago. WIKING has given the convertible a refined, true-to-life chrome finish in this cream-beige reissue, just as it characterized this flagship car at the time. The 280 SE was built from 1967 to 1971 – many film stars and TV personalities ordered it as a symbol of status and automotive enjoyment.Model DetailsCream beige body with clear lacquer finish. WIKING 024301 - Cooper racing car - black/blue

WIKING 024301 - Cooper racing car - black/blueModel InformationIt was the idea of WIKING founder Fritz Peltzer in the 1960s to follow the trend of Formula 1 and Formula 2 racing series. The Cooper T45, built in 1958 by the Cooper Car Company in both Formula 2 and Formula 1 versions, was intended to make history as a model. At WIKING, however, it found many young enthusiasts. Cooper once built 24 Formula 2 cars of the T45 type. At the same time, the compact racing cars were used in their own factory team. In 1959, Jack Brabham even fielded a pair of T45s in Formula 2. Rob Walker and the British Racing Partnership also wanted to compete in the racing series and equipped their T45s with Borgward engines featuring Bosch fuel injection. Stirling Moss even won the French Formula 2 Championship with the Rob Walker T45. Furthermore, the T45 competed in Formula 1 on many other racetracks.Model DetailsUpper and lower body black-blue, white racing driver figure with colored face. WIKING 026505 - Panel van (MB L 319) "Clark"

WIKING 026505 - Panel van (MB L 319) "Clark"Model DetailsWhat an original photo from the excellent design documents in the WIKING archives reveals! While reviewing the prototype documents for the historic Clark forklift, an image of the service vehicle emerged alongside an authentic red paint sheet: The Mercedes-Benz L 319 had become a favorite of the Clark licensee in the Ruhr region and was used for a variety of tasks by Ruhr Intrans. From the region, the Clark transporter traveled throughout Germany to keep the forklift fleet running at the freight forwarding yards. WIKING's history is particularly special when it comes to Clark. Master model maker Alfred Kedzierski created the 1:25 Clark forklift right at the beginning of the 1950s. A good 65 years later, this resulted in a delicate 1:87 forklift, reminiscent of the lifting equipment generation of the post-war years. The trio is now complete: WIKING offers the Mercedes-Benz Pullman with a delivery low-loader and now also the matching service vehicle to complement the Clark forklift. This trio is full of model-making history!Technical DetailsCoral red body, anthracite gray interior with steering wheel. White chassis with propeller shaft, black rims. Black radiator grille print with silver-plated trim and Mercedes-Benz star. All-round trim. White door print with Ruhr-Intrans logo and lettering. WIKING 080713 - Citroën ID 19 - weiß/ruby red

WIKING 080713 - Citroën ID 19 - weiß/ruby redPrototype InformationIt all comes down to choosing the right colors – and WIKING has achieved this. The white body with its matching burgundy interior, contrasted by a rich ruby red roof, makes the Citroën ID 19 a contemporary classic. This is exactly how people in France, as well as in neighboring countries like Germany and the Netherlands, envisioned this limousine of French design artistry, which still enjoys a unique status today. WIKING miniaturizes this "goddess" of French automotive history with contemporary elegance. The original car was destined to make European automotive history. It achieved a drag coefficient of 0.38, a pioneering figure in aerodynamic vehicle design – a truly remarkable figure for its time. Production of this Citroën, whose model series would eventually put 1.5 million vehicles on the road, finally ended in 1975.Model DetailsWhite body with clear lacquer finish, black chassis, burgundy interior including steering wheel. WIKING 004001 - VW 1600 - dust greyModel InformationOff on vacation! When WIKING first introduced the VW 1600, its real-life counterpart was a true touring car. It was, so to speak, the car for the whole family, who had finally left the modest VW Beetle behind. However, the Wolfsburg sedan never quite shook off its boxer engine image – the Beetle concept had left its unmistakable mark. And besides, the luggage space under the hood was considered rather limited. WIKING is now equipping the VW 1600, made from revitalized molds, for the first time with a chromed luggage rack and a leather suitcase as additional luggage.Model Details Body: dust gray. WIKING 004301 - VW 1600 TL - agate gray

WIKING 004301 - VW 1600 TL - agate grayModel DetailsWith the 1600 TL, Volkswagen made an elegant attempt in 1965 to make the staid Type 3 more trendy. The familiar "touring sedan" became a mere "sad solution." Too much Beetle rear-wheel drive was hidden beneath the TL's sleek hatchback body. The 1600 TL was well-made in typical Volkswagen style, but it was far from sporty.Technical DetailsBody: Agate gray. Chassis: aluminum silver. Interior: traffic gray. WIKING 004505 - VW Golf I GTI - lemon yellow
WIKING 004505 - VW Golf I GTI - lemon yellow

WIKING 004505 - VW Golf I GTI - lemon yellowModel DetailsIt was the dream car of many 18-year-olds of the baby boomer generation getting their driver's license. The Golf I GTI had what people wanted back then: a compact, attractive car like the Golf and a machine that could certainly rev. The GTIs certainly stood out given their limited color palette. The lemon yellow that WIKING chose this time certainly looks special, but the bright colors were a given for the first Golf GTI generation. The traditional model makers have faithfully recreated the exterior in 1:87 scale. The radiator grille bears the fine, silver GTI lettering and is surrounded by a red frame. Furthermore, the black decorative stripes, window surrounds, and door handles are also reproduced, as is the "Golf GTI" lettering on the rear. WIKING has transformed the first-generation Golf GTI into a model gem that is reminiscent of the Wolfsburg original. The 110 hp engine made the Golf more nimble than any other production compact car up to that point.Technical DetailsChassis with black interior. Lemon yellow body with black decorative stripes and a clear coat finish. Silver rims. Red front grille frame with silver GTI lettering. Black trim and door handles. WIKING 004606 - VW 411 - green

WIKING 004606 - VW 411 - greenModel DetailsCar enthusiasts in Germany have always known how to call unusual car design by its name. For example, the rear-wheel-drive VW 411 was nicknamed the "Coat Bear" (Schosenbär) because of its long, forward-projecting trunk. All tongue-in-cheek, of course, because the hatchback was intended for those who had worked their way up from Beetle ownership. It brought a considerable amount of vehicle volume to the road by Wolfsburg standards.Technical DetailsBody: moss green, interior: pebble gray. Chassis and rims: silver. Headlights: hand-silvered, indicators: orange. Taillights: printed red. VW logo and decorative stripes: printed silver at the front. WIKING 004703 - VW K70 LS - rapsgelb

WIKING 004703 - VW K70 LS - rapsgelbExample Information100 incredible horsepower under the hood transformed the otherwise rather family-oriented VW K70 into a sports sedan – the fast, then highly popular sports model was intended to make a statement. The Wolfsburg-based automaker had certainly recognized the need for more powerful engines at the beginning of the 1970s, as the K70 was meant to fill this gap for two years. In its last two years of production, the K70 therefore acquired the suffix "LS". This was proof of its high-speed capabilities, but it didn't change the fact that the rather boxy sedan's career within the company was soon over. The K70, developed before the takeover of NSU, remained in production until 1974. WIKING revitalizes the original WIKING molds and gives the K70 the sporty look of those "LS" years with typical sports decals.Model DetailsChassis with bumpers in aluminum silver, body in rapeseed yellow, interior in black. Orange front turn signals. Red taillights, silvered reversing lights. Silver "K70 LS" lettering on the rear. Black decorative stripes on the sides. WIKING 008210 - Opel Senator - karminrot

WIKING 008210 - Opel Senator - karminrotPrototype InformationWIKING recognized Opel's offensive early on and dedicated a model to the first-generation Opel Senator. This Senator "A1," along with its Monza coupé version, was presented at the IAA (Frankfurt Motor Show) in September 1977 and went into series production in February 1978. Given its apparent ambition to project an upper-class image, the amazement of the show's visitors was considerable, as Opel had finally caught up with the big names from Rüsselsheim, such as the Kapitän and Admiral. WIKING followed suit in 1980, presenting both the Opel Senator and the Monza coupé version. With its revitalized molds, the red Senator appears as elegant as its original counterpart.Model Details Upper and lower body sections in carmine red. Interior in iron gray. WIKING 008402 - Opel Commodore A Coupé - polar blue metallic

WIKING 008402 - Opel Commodore A Coupé - polar blue metallicModel DetailsIt possessed the legendary Rüsselsheim engine power – the Opel Commodore A in its coupé version stood for sportiness. The top-of-the-line engine alone, with a 2.8-liter displacement and 150 hp, transformed the otherwise rather staid coupé into a racing machine. WIKING refined the miniature with a Polar Blue metallic paint finish in a clear coat. Added to this is the bicolor contrast of the black vinyl roof – typical of the sixties. The model makers revitalized the time-honored shapes of the first Opel Commodore Coupé. Its prototype came onto the market in 1967 as an upgrade of the well-known Rekord. Opel was well aware of the attention this sporty achievement attracted and equipped the sporty sedan coupé with powerful six-cylinder engines. Contemporaries fondly remember the bicolor design, which further enhanced the eye-catching effect. From 1968 to 1982, the model enjoyed popularity among WIKING fans before disappearing from the range. Now it returns in a refined form.Technical DetailsBody painted in polar blue metallic with a clear coat finish. Roof and rear pillars printed in black. Chassis painted silver, black interior with steering wheel. Rims and side trim on window surrounds, wheel arches, and doors, including the handles, are silver-plated. WIKING has taken the model from its historical forms and designed it in a distinctive two-tone look.Technical DetailsBody in basalt gray with a clear coat finish, roof with A-, B-, and C-pillars in ivory beige. WIKING 015320 - MB 260 E - blue metallic

WIKING 015320 - MB 260 E - blue metallicModel DetailsIn November 1984, the time had come: Daimler-Benz presented its new upper-midsize sedan. It became the successor to the 123 series and was still considered the "midsize Mercedes class." For the 124 series, Daimler-Benz used key elements of the W 201, but this did not alter its successful independence from then on. WIKING miniaturized the Mercedes-Benz early on in its first E-Class version, providing a cutting-edge impetus to the passenger car range. Four decades later, the 260 E is considered a classic, maintaining its distinctive profile, particularly thanks to its then-typical color scheme for the body and plastic sills, along with a modified interior.Technical DetailsBody metallic blue, interior silver, chassis distant blue. Transparent headlights, hand-painted taillights and turn signals. Side door handles, trim strips, and window trim are silver-plated. Mercedes-Benz star and model numbers "260 E" printed in silver. Rims silver, radiator grille with ventilation surfaces and bumpers printed in black.Caution! Not suitable for children under 14 years. Our products are not toys. WIKING 016005 - Porsche 356 Cabrio - sahara beigePrototype InformationRounded fenders, a spirited engine, and a consistently compact body design – that was Porsche's recipe for success in 1955. The Porsche 356 Cabriolet marked the Zuffenhausen-based company's entry into Germany's economic miracle years. Like all other convertibles of that era, the 356 was considered pure open-air pleasure – the Sunday outing was saved. The first Porsches heralded the newfound freedom in the still-young Federal Republic of Germany. WIKING didn't want to be without the Porsche 356 and added it to their product line in 1961. The model, made from revitalized molds, boasts intricate printing. This makes the miniature Porsche a milestone in post-war automotive history.Model DetailsThe body is painted in Sahara Beige. WIKING 020003 - Ford 17M - light green with white roof

WIKING 020003 - Ford 17M - light green with white roofModel InformationThe nickname "bathtub" was by no means intended as a derogatory term for the Taunus P3 at the outset. Quite the opposite! In the post-war years, the bathtub represented an achievement in comfort and enjoyment, a symbol of growing prosperity in the economic miracle of West Germany. And indeed, the Taunus P3 had something of a comfortable sedan chair about it, allowing its occupants to glide over the newly paved asphalt roads. The top-of-the-line model from Ford in Cologne, which WIKING used as its model, not only appeared more functional but was also significantly more economical and practical than its predecessors. The redesigned body shape with considerably more organic curves also resulted in a 20% reduction in fuel consumption.Model DetailsThe body is light green with a white roof and enhanced with a clear coat finish. The interior, including the seats and steering wheel, is gray. The chassis and bumpers are painted chrome silver, the radiator grille and headlights are silver, and the taillights are printed in red. This enabled acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 8 seconds and a top speed of over 200 km/h.
